Default shrimp cocktail?

What do people like to dip their cooled boiled shrimp into, to
minimize the carb count? I need some good ideas.

I make my own cocktail sauce
I use Heinz one carb ketchup. Horseradish, Lemon juice and worcestershire.
You still have to be careful but if you put in enough horseradish it doesn't
take as much.

You can also just dip them in melted butter.

My mouth. Definitely the lowest carb approach to it. Why
bother diluting the delicious flavor of the shrimp if you're
trying to keep your carb count low.

I also like a sprinkling of mixed green herbs on a plate.
Touch the shrimp in it, eat the herbed shrimp. Old Bay
seasoning should work fine this way as well.

Which green herbs do you like that way in particular? Can you use
dried?

Thanks,

I tend to use one of the dried premixed options from Spice
Islands like their "Italian Seasoning".

Thinking about this, I also maintain a bottle of Japanese
"San Sho" green hot pepper powder. It's generally served with
bbq sea eel (Unagi kabiyaki) but it should be great dusted
onto shrimp. The red version whose name escapes my at
the moment I use on pizza (sausage meat crust listed as
"No Dough" on the menu).

Powdered wasabi should work as it has the same chemical
as horseradish. American wasabi is often made with
horseradish and green coloring because of this, real wasabi
is different and wonderful.

When I'm just not using a *small* amount of standard cocktail sauce, I
use mayonnaise mixed with a good brand of curry powder.

I don't do shrimp, but have recently been doing scallops in a great
dressing with about a quarter cup of Greek yogurt, about half a finely
minced shallot, and a glug of lime juice. It's quite nice.

Fresh squeezed lemon. Mayo with horseradish.

Because they continue to treat food and weight loss like some kind of game.
