William Banting's Diet

Good morning/evening all,
I read in some of the posts some mention of William Banting's diet. Has this
diet ever been updated and published by anyone or is it still as written in
his 'Letter on Corpulence'?
I tried searching but only came up with the letter.

Thanks for posting this link, it was a fascinating read. I much prefer the
term "corpulent" to fat or obese. I'm also fond of "Reubenesque".

Does that mean like a sandwich? Or do you mean Rubenesque, like the plump
ladies painted by Peter Paul Rubens? Sorry, sorry, couldn't resist! :-))
