If you need any further proof of America's obesity problem...

Take this morning, here in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Traffic is backed up and becoming a problem. One lane is blocked completely,
causing commuters to have to make the transition over to the next lane and
creating one hell of a slowdown.

Why?

There's a new Krispy Kreme that opened on South Shackleford.

Last night around 9:30 I was driving to a friend's house and had to take S.
Shackleford to get there. Still one lane closed, and a huge line of cars in
the lane to turn into KK. Traffic monitors were even there.

You know, there's NEVER a line to get into Powerhouse Gym, which is about 10
miles away. Matter of fact, the parking is just like at church...it's
*great*.

I've resolved never to step foot in that Krispy Kreme. Why add to the chaos?
