I believe giving credit where it is due.
For those who are working low-carb and succeeding; Congratulations. I worked the atkins diet bout 5 years ago for 6 months and fell off it. To many deaths close to me and I started to eat. My weight when I started atkins was 320 pounds. When I left atkins it was 300 pounds. I did manage to stay at the 300 pound mark even with alot of bing eating and I love chinese buffet restraunts. Three weeks ago I decided to make some changes and one was to lose weight. I have not gone back to atkins, I did cut my food intake down by alot though. I am taking lunch to work instead of going out for fast food, I have one of those little packs of oatmeal ( you know the instant stuff, and bought some smaller plates for dinner. Regularly I read the posts in this group and I use reciepes some one had on a web site of low-carb cooking. I just feel i need more. Thanks for all the great posts and support you give each other ( I use this support to keep me going) also I dropped 20 pounds in the last three weeks and feel good for a change. Thanks again Joe Ingram. |
