Default Candy has sugar and carbohydrates?

I just received an e-mail from Bain Surveys asking me to complete market
research onlow carb products. It looks like market reearch for
Carbolite/rite. One of the questions I though was funny was:

Were you aware that some candy contains sugar and carbohydrates?

So THAT'S why i used to weigh 250 lbs! Now I get it!

People are dumb.
If I told you that close to 50% of all the respondents probably were not
aware of this, you would say I was daft...
I can believe that almost all people will understand that candy has sugar in
it, but do all people understand that sugar = carbs?
Do people understand carbs, sugar types, starches, etc?

Heck, there are people living right now, in the united states of America,
who don't know who the president of those same united states are...

There are polls on this that validate that statement.
So I believe there are people that aren't aware that sugar = carbs.

Did they explain the name change? The first time I saw an ad for
Carborite, I thought it was a rip-off product.

bad analogy. I wish I did not know who the traitor president is.

:-)

but anyway yes it is amazing what people do NOT know. and I mean what many
of us take for granted as insanely obvious.
