need support
hi guys
read somewhere that online groups can be a real help to people wanting to lose weight--i've personally lost the same 30# twice in the last two years all on my own---unfortunately i'm back to square one and having a hard time getting motivated to take another shot at it in spite of health problems and an unhappy camper for a doctor. does online support really make a difference? Ann Welcome to the group, Ann. I think you'll find several of the members who agree that online support has been a great part of their losing and maintaining a weight loss. Your past history indicates you have tackled the weight loss portion but like many have a problem maintaining the loss. Did you follow a particular weight loss program? What type of exercise? I've found that exercise is an important part of my weight loss program. You'll find lots of information and support in the group. I hope to see you posting often. Beverly |

I think it does -- it gives you a chance to talk to others who're dealing with many of the same issues, learn new techinques for real weight loss, share your successes and setbacks, etc. Please tell us more about yourself. BTW, you might want to read the FAQ for this group: http://asd.dozer.com/ Welcome to ASD! :-) -- J.J. in WA * 275/234 Goal #2: 215 By Dec 31 '05 Goal #3: 195 by May 31 '05 |

Ann It's what you make of it really. It has made a world of difference for me because I've found some excellent resources and people who have been where I am/was. I've also established some great online friendships that I value and look forward to bringing into the real world soon Stick around a while, lurk, read, get a feel for it. See if it will work for you. Jenn |
