Default Week 24 of 24

Well, I finally made it to the end of my 24-week program. I went from
230 to 186, with most weeks right at a 2lb/week loss rate. I didn't
quite make my goal (thanks to slacking off on exercise this month),
but I'm within striking range now, and I certainly lost more and more
easily than I believed possible in the best-case.

I can now (barely) wear my 34" dockers, though since my waistline is
36.5" I still have another 3-4" to lose there. We'll see if my goal to
fit into my college 501's is doable, but given the 50lb loss I think
another 10 is doable given enough time and exercise...

I plan on a slow transition into maintenance eating, and increasing
exercise to continue a gradual fat loss, with increasing upper-body
workout to rebuild lost muscle. The main lesson from this diet has
been a little bit every day adds up into results.

Here's my weekly/cumulative record:

1 ? ?
2 ? ?
3 2.6 6.5
4 1.6 8.1
5 2.7 10.8
6 2.2 13.0
7 0.2 13.1
8 3.3 16.5
9 2.4 18.9
10 1.3 20.2
11 2.4 22.6
12 0.8 23.4
13 2.3 25.8
14 2.8 28.6
15 1.6 30.2
16 1.9 32.2
17 0.3 32.5 (vacation)
18 0.3 32.7 (vacation)
19 2.4 35.2
20 2.7 37.9
21 0.2 38.1
22 2.7 40.7
23 0.8 41.5
24 2.2 43.7

Thanks all!

Great work Heywood,

Your making great progress and I'm sure you'll make it into those 34"'s as
long as you keep chugging along and eating/exercising.

I haven't made my original goal yet but came within 5 pounds of it. Of
course I had to make my first goal a 125 pound loss...lol.

Have a great weekend,

Paul
