Default Joseph's reduced carb pita

I saw this in the deli section of the grocery store today:

Joseph's Oat Bran & Whole Wheat Flour Pita Bread
Reduced Carb

Nutrition Facts:
Serving size: 1 pita (37 g / 1.33 oz)
Calories: 60
cal from fat: 13
Total fat: 1.5 g
Total carb: 10 g
dietary fiber: 5 g
sugars: 1 g
Protein: 7 g

(The math checks out -- they haven't sneakily deducted fiber from the total
already, so it looks like just 5 g net carbs.)

Ingredients:
water, wheat gluten, corn starch, oat fiber, whole wheat flour, oat bran,
isolated soy protein, soy flour, soy oil, sesame flour, salt, sodium acid
pyrophosphate, dextrose, sodium bicarbonate, calcium propitionate (a
preservative), fumaric acid, potassium sorbate, monodiglycerides,
sucralose, sodium metabisulfite.

They are regular sandwich-sized pitas (about 6 or 7 inches in diameter).

I don't know if these are just a local thing or not. The company is
located in Massachusetts, so it might be. (Their regular pita bread has
been available forever around here, so it's not a new company.)

Man. Something is right with the world. All of these goodies make
low-carbing so easy and fun.

I guess the only thing left that I want and can't have is a baked
potatoe to go with my T-Bone.

And at that same store tonight, I saw that they've started to carry the
Vita LC tortillas, too.

Em,

Big Y started carrying Vita's Tortillas this week too.

Wonderful!

I had just gotten some La Tortilla via mail order and they were so gluey and
soy-ish in comparison. My blood sugar can handle the Vita's, I don't get
the stomach symptoms that mean "too much wheat", and they make a wonderful
addition to my food plan.

I think I saw some Victory markets on the way to RI. We have to
go back down on the 19th, so I will check then. Thanks.
