Week 12 - PLateau Continues
Stayed the same this week as my plateau/slow down continues. The
difference between me after the last meeting and this meeting? After last meeting I was very frustrated, very depressed, and just down. Not in danger of leaving WW, but just down because I am giving this program my all. Between last week and this week (and after a few days of feeling sorry for myself) I snapped out of it. I read a lot online about breaking plateau's (lots of great info that should be on WW plateau handout and isn't IMHO) and in the latter half of the week I really concentrated on adding more exercise, adding more fruits and veggies, not eating after 8pm, less low calorie goodies, and really adding more food variety day to day. I get caught up in the cycle of eating the same things all the time. These late week changes were too soon to see a difference for this meeting, but I am hoping to break this plateau in two more meetings and get going again. Good weeks to you all! I am living vicariously through your successes...and I am right there with you on your setbacks!!! Melissa in NJ |

How about posting a sample of your menus for us to see if we have any suggestions? "Melissa in NJ" wrote in message ups.com... Stayed the same this week as my plateau/slow down continues. Hey Melissa! You know Melissa... trust that even though you didn't lose a
visable pound on the scale, you may be losing inches!!! RIGHT?! Even though you weight on the scale didn't reflect anything, your body is still likely changing it's shape in response to the right choices you've been making! : ) I understand how the frustration can set in, but remember to be kind to yourself : ) "Melissa in NJ" wrote in message ups.com...
