Default Rating diet-tracking software

Hi all,

I've been sticking to my Atkins since I made the New Year's
resolution, but I'm getting tired of tracking everything with pen
and paper. I'd really like to do it online or with some simple
software. Can anyone recommend what's worked for them? I'm not
super-savvy, but I'm capable of doing my taxes online, so I should
be able to learn some diet software, right? TIA for your recs.

I use diet power and like it. Its not free but thats not saying you cant
get it and try it out for free. if you like it then you can buy it. I
think fitday has a version you can purchase and use offline as well.

Amanda,

LifeForm is my very favorite diet software. It's shareware so you can try it
for free.

I like the convenience of having my info with me so that I can log as I
go. I use BalanceLog with my PDA. I know that JMA uses a spreadsheet
with her PDA. There are other PDA programs that you can use as well.
That being said, fitday seems to be a very nice tool and it's free :-)

I've used both versions of Fitday and like both. The PC version does have
additional reports and is a little easier to define custom foods.

I have used Sante from http://www.hoptechno.com/santeall.cfm for many years
even when it was a DOS program, now on CD, and have found it works very
well. It does cost about $40. though.
