Default how to weigh food

hello,

I am new to the Atkins diet so pleas can you tell me when you weigh for
example meat you do it before or after coking?

I get on the scale and note how much I weigh.
Then I eat.
I get back on the scale and note the difference.
That is how I weigh my meat.

I prefer to weigh it before. Depending on how it's cooked and how
long, it loses differing amounts of moisture, and therefore weight,
during cooking.

long, it loses differing amounts of moisture, and therefore weight,

er, yes. that's why i weigh it afterwards.


But it has the same calories after it's lost X percent of its water.
That's why I weigh it before.
