My New Pants!
please tell me pants are trousers - not pants? *grin* well - us v. uk -
very different things! Either way, it's still a great achievement - so well done you You go strut your stuff in 'em - lookin' good and feelin' good! -- krys UK 157/129.6/126 Started March 1st 2001 GOAL August 16th 2001 ....definitely making progress... "Mary in Rock Island IL" wrote in message ... This past summer I came upon some pants on the clearance rack ($5!). They just barely fit but I didn't think I could breathe while wearing them. Today they are on comfortably and they may even be a bit baggy! The even greater news is that I also bought a pair one size smaller yet (also for $5). Can't wait to wear them too!! Mary |

I'm afraid to ask but for those of us in the US what's the difference? Pants
to us are trousers or slacks. "krys" wrote in message ... please tell me pants are trousers - not pants? *grin* well - us v. uk - very different things! pants = trousers. No naked tushies. (tushie = bottom, just in case.)

Laura,
I can't remember if there is an official word to describe it in the US, but I think it's sneaking up on someone and pulling their pants down in public. krys is that right? DH calls that a "pants-ing" but I have never heard of it before. I see your
concern. "skiur" wrote in message ... :-) I added "ing" to krys' question in my head. It was a lot funnier to me
than it really should have been. It was a rough day at work and I needed the laugh, such is life. "Laura" wrote in message ... DH calls that a "pants-ing" but I have never heard of it before.
