BTW, I intentionally drink a glass before bed so I can get up early
when I'm not sleeping much - like these days.

I just posted that I'm sleeping *longer* because of the 3am potty run.
(It's not like I would stay up at 3, even in summer when it's nearly
light then)

I sleep pretty soundly when I *can* sleep. By drinking enough water before
bed, the slightest amount of consciousness makes it necessary to get up.
Fortunately for me, I don't start dealing with minor disturbances until it's
close to wake-up time. I guess that if something happened at 3 AM, I'd get
up and then have to use the bathroom because I was awake, but that doesn't
happen often. It is not unusual for me to sleep through my alarm for 30-45
minutes or better yet hit the snooze without waking up, unless I really have
to go...

Well, I dunno about anyone else... but I haven't been doing well at
this. Perhaps I better drop out of the challenge right now. I managed
maybe a half a bottle per day the last two days.

I just can't concentrate on anything but getting this painting work
done and it is very physically wearing on me.

I sleep pretty lite, slight disturbances can wake me up. Thus I
try to drink 2 quarts of water before lunch and 1 quart after lunch
while at work but no other water for the day afterwards. That way
by the time I go to bed, alot of the water has been processed before
I go to bed ;-) In addition to the 3 quarts of water, I drink
about 24 ounces of diet pop at lunch and about 16 ounces for dinner.
