Default Body mass index

Body mass index (BMI) or Quetelet Index is a statistical measure of the
weight of a person scaled according to height. It was invented between 1830
and 1850 by the Belgian polymath Adolphe Quetelet during the course of
developing "social physics".

Here you can calculate your BMI and see if you have standard weight or not:

My BMI is pretty much standard 22.4. I do not think it has much meaning
though.

You also need to take into account bone size and percentage of body fat. The
ideal weight range probably varies by about 20 pounds 9 kg.

..
i've read recently,
that your waist size, compared to your height,
is a good indicator of your "health"

simply, your waist should be less/no more than 1/2 your height

i'm 69" tall [5' 9"]
so, ideally my waist would be less than 34.5" [1/2 my height]
