Not sure if this was the virus regenterating itself or not, but the virus
was still attached to the forwarded message. DO NOT open it!!!!

I'm getting 20-30 AN HOUR. Earthlink will place these in a suspicious
mail folder, but they are coming so fast, the folder is filling up about
every 12 hours. This is a 9.75 on the Internet Suckage Level.

This is off topic but you have a worm. Go to this link and down load
Stinger. Then run a complete scan. THis is a free virus scan from Mcafee. I
had the same virus. As always never open an attachment.

These spam emails spoof real addresses.

Yeah, it's all over the place. I can avoid most viruses since I use a
Mac, but this one is high on the annoyance level since it is just
flooding mailboxes. I'm wondering what the ISPs are doing to deal with
it. I have my SpamBlocker set as high as possible, but I still have to
manually empty the suspected email folder about once every two hours.

I don't have a Mac and I haven't received any of these. Why? Dunno. Possibly
a combination of my ISP's great filtering, Norton and fake e-mail. Of
course, now that I've mentioned it, I've probably jinxed myself!

Well, Norton does not stop it from flooding your inbox! The other two may be
stopping it though. My ISP does not allow me to use a fake email address for
usenet. I must use the real email address or they will not post the message.
And I've been getting hundreds of these babies a day. What a pain. First
time I've ever been hit like this.

You can stop the emails before they get to you.

I finally shut down my email address and switched to a new one. I was
getting about 10 per minute. I didn't have a virus. They were coming
from outside.
