HHH - 4 times

Since the weather was so beautiful here last week I did my regular errands
on foot rather than in my car. Every little bit helps!

There'll be one day this week that I definitely get in my exercise. Trick
or Treating with DS (his first time). All the merchants in town participate
in having treats for the kids, so that's what we'll be doing.

NYNY - Down 1 lb to 172

Glad I was down, hope I can stay there with all the chocolate around this
weekend! We're getting to the time of the year when there is all kinds of
baking around. I used to bake and give it away as gifts to some people.
Trying to decide whether I will do that or not this year. I think I will do
a bit, at least for the fellow who takes Nicholas' photos. He's single with
a teenage son. He's a professional photographer, but mostly concentrates on
his website now, so we were lucky we knew him and he agreed to do our pics.
He had Nicholas' picture on it for awhile. Probably will again in a few
weeks.

Here's his website if anyone is interested:

Wow Brenda, 4 times is great! What an increase!

As for baking, I've found I've been able to satisfy my "need" to bake
and yet not incur the consequences thanks to DF. It's become a
tradition now that whenever I'm in town I bake something for his
staff. Yesterday it was an apple pie. So that went in to work this
morning, untouched, ready for the staff. I might surprise them with
cookies Wednesday too since we've got supplies left over that DF won't
use and won't be good 'til next time I'm here (ie butter).

I also do a lot of christmas baking and then don't get to eat very
much of it - I bake for a 4-day christmas trip we do every year, and
also for a christmas lights tour that I hand out goodie bags on. Easy
way to get rid of baking!

Giving it away is a great idea. If I do any I'll try to give much of it
away as well. DH and DS both liked home baked goodies, so I would be able
to get away with giving it all out.

Good solid loss. Congrats. And watch the chocolate as you give it
away to the trick-treaters.
