loss of flavor but texture. i haven't tried it with shrimp, but i should.

Pressure steaming is the only way to go, as far as steaming goes.

Faster, less water, less runoff, less leaching of flavor.

I have never even heard of boiling crabs.

I have never even heard of boiling crabs.


Most people just use a powder or lotion to kill 'em.

Grilled is good for lobster, crab, shrimp, mussels, clams, etc.
