What's the nutritional info for eddoes?
The eddoes is marketed in boxes weighing 30 pounds (13.6 kg), in small,
medium, and large sizes. It is recommended for baby food due to its high energetic value, and for providing a perfect consistency for the baby formulas. Rich in carbohydrates and poor in fats, the eddoes is a great source of energy. It contains mineral salts such as Calcium, Phosphorus and Iron, in addition to Complex B vitamins, particularly the B1 (Thiamin) and B5 (Niacin). Minerals are essential for the body because they contribute to the formation of teeth, bones and blood. Vitamin B1 stimulates the appetite, is essential for the growth and makes the digestion easier. Vitamin B5 avoids problems of skin, digestive tract, and nervous system. The eddoes cleans the blood It is one of the most effective medicinal food items known: it causes many blood impurities to be expelled through the skin, kidneys and intestines. It strengthens the immune system Eastern physicians recommend to eat eddoes in order to strengthen the lymphatic ganglions, which are the outposts of the immune system defenses.
