Yes I think I have had one maintain and one gain in nine or ten weeks, that
is really above my expectations, I am a slow loser and so this is a super
boost, Lee

You are doing GREAT. Enjoy the cake since it appears YOU can have
your cake and eat it, too (G)

But really, this is quite a great string of losses, maintain,
losses......

Congrats

any cake mix, lowest points you can find, any diet soda, 12 oz mix and bake,
put nothing else in. Or a white, yellow, carrot, or spice cake, add either
a can of pineapple or plain cooked pumpkin add nothing else, mix and bake,

This sounds good Joyce. Does the cake still get fluffy or is it more like a
dessert that you spoon into a bowl? I've got a box of angelfood cake mix in
the cupboard, maybe I'll try it this weekend. Haven't tried the cake mix
with soda either, but that sounds good. It's my sister's birthday on Sunday
and her husband is going to be away herring fishing (need to keep Fred and
the rest of us in pickled herring for the next year). I thought I might
invite her for dinner on the weekend. Maybe I'll try one of the cake
recipes.

A box of angelfood cake mix, mixed with a large can of crushed pineappless

is also
wonderful ... or mixed with a can of peaches (I cut them up and use the

juice) is
even better.

I have made my own pickled herring in the past and they turned out well. If
I ever make them again I'll let you know, you're close enough to come for a
visit or I can send you a jar!
