Default Newbie, well not so much LOL

Hi All,

My first time posting to the group, I joined weight watchers here in
Newfoundland, Canada about 2 yrs ago and had success, I started at 214
pounds, and I am now 170, and want to lose more. I am going back on
points, but on my own because meetings are a little inconvenient for
me. I was just wondering if anyone can tell me how many points I am
supposed to consume in a day right now at that weight, i'm not sure if
it's 22 or 24?

TIA

No one can tell you this. You need to answer a series of questions that
have to do with gender, amount of activity, starting weight. For example
at 170 pounds the base number is 17. You get 2 points if you are female
and 8 if you are male. What is your sex, age, and daily activity level.

female=2 points
age=3 points
weight=17 points
height=missing statistic 0 for under 5'1", 1 for 5'1"-5'10" and 2 for
taller
activity=more lifestyle than exercise
For example 0 if you sit most of the day, 2 if you stand occasionally
such as a sales person, housewife, teacher, 4 for a waiter or mailman, 6
for a nurse, construction worker

You could sign up on line and get all the information from the WW site.
Signing up is less expensive than attending the meetings and there are lots
of resources on the WW site.

You fill out a form and then receive information for the plan you choose.
WW has a nice little calculator that is great for figuring out the points
for each food or you can use the points calculator on the site to figure out
the right amount of points for the day. They also have a weight tracker.
If you gain then you are given a lower number of points.

I don't know if the site is available in Canada. I live in the USA. At any
rate, if it is available, I suggest you give it a try and get the correct
information. They also have several message boards on the site that you
might enjoy.
