Unplanned 1 day trip to the mountains
Food: Breakfast (driving): 1 small package whole wheat crackers (cca 15 grams) Snack (when we arrived): 1 slice Emmenthaler cheese; 0.1 lt Coca-Cola Lunch (BBQ with friends): 1 grilled pork steak, 1/2 grilled pork sausage, 0.25 tomato dressed w/salt and oil Snack (while hiking): red raspberries (maybe a fistful) Snack (driving back): light vanilla ice cream bar (covered w/chocolate), 65 ml Dinner ( when we came back - restaurant): - clams in white sauce - 1 portion - 2 slices whole wheat bread, 1/3 slice white bread, - tried DH's 1 calamari dressed w/olive oil and parsley; - split 1 portion of pancakes (house special - pancake filled w/marmalade and whipped cream, dressed w/light chocolate syrup) - 1 glass white wine, 0.5 lt water *had a car accident while driving home - we stopped at the stop sign and a young girl hit us from behind while we were waiting for the other car to pass so that we could make a turn; apparently she didn't pay us any attention but was watching the other car (I don't understand how she didn't see us, we were right in front of her!) There was a bit of the damage on the rear of the car but nothing too serious; DH was driving and he didn't drink at the restaurant, the baby wasn't with us, we were both wearing seat belts so no big physical damage - but the impact sort of shook me and a spot in the shoulder became sore instantly (as the impact "threw" me front as far as the seat belt allowed and then back) and started feeling numb as the evening progressed. I also had some headache, so we decided that it was best to go to the ER. After waiting for 2 hrs (!), they gave me an analgesic shot and said to contact my doctor tomorrow if the headache progressed. "Snack" (waiting at the E.R., as I was a bit upset (and thanked God all the time DD, 10 months old, wasn't with us - she's always in her car seat, but if the impact shook me strong enough to provoke myalgia and headache, I don't dare to think what it could provoke in a 10 month old!), DH suggested I drink something warm, and as I don't drink coffee, only hot chocolate was available) = 1/2 cup hot chocolate, no sugar Water = 2 liters Carbonated water = 0.3 liters Exercise: - hiking (very steep hill, very hard effort) = 45 minutes up, 15 minutes going down - steps = 22 flights (each flight 8 steps) - walking = 30 minutes According to FitDay = 117 grams of carbs (total 1750 calories), & 584 calories burned through exercise.
