Hi,
I'd like opinions on this;
I'm age 20.
Height:5'9".
Weight:10st 8Lbs
Roughly a size 12.

And i feel like i need to lose weight, that i have a fat stomach.
I know some people will think im vain, just being stupid but thats not the
case,i cant help but feel insecure.
Everywhere i look, people judge you on weight.
Am i really a bad size?

I think you are a great size. I have been SLOWLY loosing weight over
the summer and a size 12 is my goal and I'm only 5' 5". Maybe this
ideal weight calculator will make you feel better.

Really, what the questions should be is, "Are you an ideal/healthy bodyfat
%?" Size tells us nothing.... You could have very little muscle and carry
around a great deal of fat, and still wear a small size. You could also be
very muscular and relatively lean, and wear a larger size.

Vanity is often the first reason we begin to want to lose weight. But it's
not until we desire good health and fitness that it becomes a truly worthy
goal.

Personally, after having another kid recently, I am focusing on getting my
bodyfat % down below 24%. That is what drives me.

I'd like to find a website that talks about ideal bodyfat percentages... I
believe this is a far more accurate way of finding out if you are healthy.
BMI doesn't work, and this website, although is probably right, the range of
what is considered ok is so large, and doesn't take alot of variables into
consideration....

I have been maintaining for about two and a half years and it was nice
to see this. I've not been 100% happy with my weight as I am at the
higher end of the range that I've been maintaining and it was good to
see that I'm doing fine weight-wise on all accounts.
