Default Hair Changes

I've noticed that when I'm LC'ing, my hair gets different. It seems
finer, a bit lanker, less lustrous (yeah, normally I'm Kelly Lebrock).
And I've heard some talk about people loosing hair while on LC.

What are the experiences/opinions of other members of this group?

I found that my hair got drier after a few months on LC. I switched to a
shampoo made specifically for dry hair (Herbal Essences) and all's back to
normal.

My hair grows faster, and so do my nails.

My barber even mentioned it, telling me that I must be eating better.

My hair grows faster and is shinier on low carb. Low-fat is what dries it
out.

It's purely internet legend that LC makes people lose hair. There' no basis
for that whatsoever.

Thank goodness! My hair is too thin already. Don't need to be worried about
losing anymore.

My hair does grow more quickly now. I already have really thick hair. Every 4
weeks or so, I get my hair thinned out, cut short. I wear it short and spiked.
More shinier and healthy also.

Same here.

Hair can fall out when you are seriously calorie deficient as it's often
associated with a high cortisol level caused by dietary stress. It happens
whenever people diet 'too hard' regardless of the diet methodology they use.

I had hair loss initially. When I washed it, there would be heaps of
strands of hair in my hands. It's a way your body can react to a change in
diet. Any diet, not just low carb. After about a month, it was back to
normal.
