I must get away from the computer...
And get more active! I ache all over... GRRR! HATE the fibro when
it's like this... But I DO want to get the sewing room tidied so I can start the next projects, and that will keep me away from thoughts of food! I shall think of fabric! I'm expecting some in the post real soon... The low calorie, high fibre diet! This fabric will be for my new SMALLER summer clothes! Also looking forward to a lovely bunch of Vogue patterns, ordered with half price coupons! Oh, and I put on a T-shirt an skirt yesterday... The skirt is fine - broomstick style with elastic waist, but the size 18 T-shirt is hanging off me! I only bought it last year, I'm sure! Looks like I need a new set of T's. Oooh! An NSV I wasn't expecting! You know, I shall be quite sad when I no longer fit into Evan's* T's and stuff: they are a reasonable price and very good quality, stay looking smart for years, and I dunno how I can afford to replace a dozen T's all at once! I don't make T's: boring, and cheaper to buy. -- Kate XXXXXX Lady Catherine, Wardrobe Mistress of the Chocolate Buttons http://www.diceyhome.free-online.co.uk Click on Kate's Pages and explore! *Evans are a UK high street chain for larger ladies: do some nice stuff at reasonable prices. |

I know what you're going through Kate, I have FMS too. I also have severe
arthritis and a ruptured lumbar disk that they wouldn't do anything about, that's what I meant by enough medical problems in my other post. I'm diabetic too. I so wish I could join the exercise challenges, but it's just beyond me. I think I'm doing well for someone with just activities of daily activity and a small amount of walking to have lost so well. All together - Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, can't fit in the LARGE T-shirts! (G)
Well, that is one somewhat costly consequence of losing weight but worth it. Congrats On Tue, 30 Mar 2004 10:47:03 +0100, Kate Dicey wrote: And get more active! I ache all over... GRRR! You're doing very well, with all those other challenges! I cleared the sewing room floor and hooverd madly this afternoon... Them walked the mile up to school to collect James, and walked back, in bright cold sunshine with spring blossom all about. Lovely! Blew the cobwebs away and i feel a bit less stiff and grumpy! AND the sewing room looks better! Soon I'll be in there quilting again, then i have some trousers to sew, and a few things to make for 20th april for customer fittings... And my own new stuff! Should be enough to keep me out of trouble for a while! -- Kate XXXXXX Lady Catherine, Wardrobe Mistress of the Chocolate Buttons http://www.diceyhome.free-online.co.uk Click on Kate's Pages and explore! |

Kate,
I hope you feel better. Suggestion for the T's-have your son wash them in hot then run them through the dryer. They may not have colors that are quite fresh enough, but if he does it a few times they might be the right size ;-) Julie "Kate Dicey" wrote in message ... And get more active! I ache all over... They may not have colors that are quite fresh enough, but if he does it a few times they might be the right size ;-) Hehehehehehehehehehehehehehe!! Ooer! I can just imagine a 9 YO boy in a Hot Pink T with pretty flowers and beads all over it! Maybe 30 years ago, but not today! h'mm... Nah, these T's have all been washed and tumbled quite a lot, and being poly/cotton knit, have not pilled, shrunk, faded, or even needed ironing in 2-3 years, so I don't think they'll change now! James HAD purloined his dad's Bisley T (DH shot small bore for Durham University many years ago), and likes his shirts baggy, but these would fit like tents! I shall get organized and take a pile in to my WW meeting: there are bound to be some girls who are bigger than me, and would like a few free garments to tide them over as they go down in size. Anything not wanted can go to the charity shop. I must go tidy the living room and hoover the floor: new bridal customer coming at 1 pm! -- Kate XXXXXX Lady Catherine, Wardrobe Mistress of the Chocolate Buttons http://www.diceyhome.free-online.co.uk Click on Kate's Pages and explore! |

That's a great idea! Taking them to a meeting and see who wants them on
