Journal June 23 - Laura
Well, we are at mom's now. We go to pick her up tomorrow and return here on
Friday so I won't be online tomorrow. Let's see what did I eat today. B: Krave bar L: Packed a salad with chicken and a tad of dressing (4) + mellon (1) + kashi cinn raison crunch (2) I had some left over cereal and packed it into two 1 cup containers. I was looking for a pria bar for dessert but DD could not find them in the bag. She handed me the cereal to snack on instead (Do I have her trained, or what?). I munched on the cereal on and off for the next hour as I read. Every time I grabbed the container, DH and DD yelled "Kibbles & Bits". DH would then yell "Beggin" to mimic the TV commercials. When I finished the cereal DH patted me on my head and said "good doggie". Yes, it was a comical 5 1/2 hour drive to mom's. D: Went to a cookout. Had bits and pieces of nibbles that I can't remember. I did concentrate on the veggie platter that we grabbed at the supermarket so I would not be too tempted by all of the food we were sharing. This is a weekly event so this will be my one of my biggest challenges this summer. Actual dinner was a small steak (4) + salad with dressing (1) + 1/2 c clam chowder (2) + small piece of blueberry cake (2) + misc nibbles (2 shrimp, some chips, etc) (6) Total Points: 26 / Target: 24 / Flex points left: 26 Water: Not much water on the trip up but I polished off at least 2 refills of my WW 32 oz mug tonight. I'm going to use this more this summer since it seems to do a good job of keeping the ice longer than most containers we have. No exercise today. |
