Congratulations, 50 days on programme and 9 kg lost is wonderful! Be careful
though no to weigh in too often or the fluctuations might drive you mad :-) -- Nathalie from Belgium 134.1/87.8/minigoal 86.2/ Goal 68 Kg 295.6/193.6/minigoal 190/Goal 150 pounds "Doug Lerner" wrote in message ... It can be fun and encouraging when you know there's an overall loss. It can also remind you during the more discouraging days, like when you 'ticked up', that you are still heading in the desired direction. Daily weigh-ins is a way to show us that we can fluctuate a lot in a 24 hr. period and a gain showing up on weigh-in day may not necessarily mean fat gain that week. The charts or graphs help. Keep up the good work Doug! Yvette |

Thanks, Yvette. I think when I have some more data points I'll start
graphing. doug Medium Gnome wrote: Are you charting this progress on some sort of graph? It can be fun and encouraging when you know there's an overall loss. I can gain 2.6lbs from morning to night and only drop 1lb from that night to
the next morning. From that data it looks like I've gained 1lb in 24hrs. That gain could even fall on a weigh in day. There's a lot of water being held, possibly from salty foods or not drinking enough to begin with, or undigested food hanging around. Weekly weighins can throw us for a loop when they show us something we don't expect, especially after a week of hard work. Once in a while I like to graph the a.m. and p.m. weights for a while just to see the wild fluctuations and to see a general trend. It works to help prevent me from getting discourages. I just like graphing stuff anyway. Yvette "Doug Lerner" wrote in message ... Thanks, Yvette.
