Default 6 Month Update (Week #26)

Hi all. It's been awhile since I've checked in. Doing well with the
motivation and everything still. I'm more active today than I've been
in years. I'm doing non-technical mountain climbs and hikes as often
as I can and playing softball once or twice a week. I'm actually
climbing Mt. St. Helens on Friday (4500 ft. elevation, 11 miles round
trip) and I'm biking to work 3 days a week most weeks. Thinking about
indoor soccer maybe. Occasionally the treadmill too though less in the
summer when I can go outside. I can play with my kids and actually
keep up. All that activity has meant I've been able to loosen the
reins a tad bit with the points, and it's been nice, but I'm still
cautious. WW has been an absolute life-changer for me. My entire
perspective on eating has undergone the lifestyle change necessary to
permanent alter my mentality and how I think about food. I'd like to
say I no longer eat when bored, but I've still got that vice.

Today's weigh-in was pretty good. I missed last week, so the total
loss was 1.8lbs for the two weeks. I'm hoping to reach goal by
September 30th and hoping to be lifetime by Thanksgiving!

Definitely healthier, overall, yes! I had my blood pressure taken
today...114 over 60, a new record for me. My BMI has gone from 36 to
27 in 6 months. More energy, fewer complications in digestion and
swallowing, no more acid reflux, I can fit in seats and chairs that I
couldn't before. WW definitely worked for me!
