Yep.
Fat begets insulin resistance, and insulin resistance begets fat. It's
a viscious cycle, actually. Once you start in with the huge bagels for
breakfast, you're on the sugar spiking, fat storing, insulin
rollercoaster. The fat then releases certain hormones which increase
insulin resistance, which only exacerbates the over eating & fat
storage.

Best to avoid it all together by eating a moderate glycemic load diet.
Or, if you're already on it, get off ASAP... do something like
moderate fat, moderate carb south beach.

I get my blood sugar tested each year. Do you know what hell it is to
have to get up with no caffeine and drive to the doctor to get your
test? I wonder what percentage of road rage is caused by non-caffeinated
drivers?

I may start posting here since I am taking these stupid hormones and
gained 8 pounds in one week from them.

If this keeps up I will look like that girl on Charlie and the Chocolate
Factory soon.
