ok, stop eating sugar and processed grains. :-)

alternately, http://atkins.com/ or http://www.southbeachdiet.com might have
more info.

Hi, and welcome!

I'm on Atkins. You can find most of the information about the program on
their website:
www.atkins.com

Most people, including me, suggest buying the book (the paperback is really
low-cost). On the website, the information is scattered all over the
place, but the book is much more orderly.

Best wishes,
Carol

Meat, greens, a bit of cheese, a dash o' cream, good oils, a few nuts, a
handful o' berries and a smidge of cantaloupe. LOTS of greens.

Try he http://atkins.com/Archive/2001/12/15-464579.html

Of course, I never followed anyone's plan, as such. So, do as I say, not as
I do....

The best plan is one you like. Take your current diet and exchange high carb
foods for lower carb equivilents. Sadly, all flour products are usually out
but there are low carp alternatives. Start searching food stores and read
the labels.

someone who can't even figure out how to google "atkins" isn't going to
have much luck understanding what "GI 30" means.

Who said they can't figure it out? Never ascribe to stupidity what can
be covered by laziness. I bet someone will be along shortly to ask what
GI is.

Uhm...what's GI? Something to do with the army? Is it like a military diet
or something? Can you list extensively, all the foods I can eat please.

Thanks
