Default can supplements CAUSE muscle and joint pain?

i've been locarbing about 2 weeks (repeat attempt) i'm down 6 lbs for week one
and another 3lbs for week 2. very happy. don't know why i stopped this way of
eating last time. well i do know...i'm a food addict and can't start with any
trigger foods or all is lost. i'm a type 2 diabetic and take metformin 500mg
and avandia 4mg twice a day. last week i started taking supplements, a multi,
extra b, c and e, folic acid, garlic, ginko, ginseng, green tea extract and
minerals like calcium, magnesium, chromium, in recommended dosages.
coincidentally, i started feeling a deep pain in my joints and muscles. feels
like it would after a workout, but i haven't started working out yet so it's
not from that. i've lo carbed before and don'y remember having this pain. any
thoughts? thanks in advance.

peter
