That's it. They call it 'syrup base' because (I speculate) Splenda claims
they don't sell 'liquid Splenda' in the USA. This is a workaround.

I bought some from them and had no problems. The liquid Splenda syrup is GREAT
and makes a BIG difference is total carbs when making sweet things.

That's it. Splenda in it's pure form is solid but very very concentrated. In
order to be able to measure it for recipies they have to put it in a filler.
In liquid Splenda the filler is water which has no carbs.

FYI: The other day in the store I saw a similar product (liquid, white
bottle) for $3.00. However, I think it said it was Sodium Saccharine
based, NOT Splenda, so I passed it by.

It was in the baking isle, near the regular sugar.

What do you do with liquid Splenda?

I use it for anything I want sweetened that can be mixed. I use it for coffee
(decaf), whipped cream, cereal and baking (mix it with the wet ingredients). A
few drops goes a LONG way. About the only thing it's unsuitable for would be for
something with all-dry ingredients, such as cinnamon-sugar to be used on toast or
pork rinds.

The real true liquid, you put about one drop per gallon to make
diet sodas. That's why the real true liquid is not available on
the market. Someone would use 6 drops in a cup of coffe and sue.

The liquid diluted to a safe level is used in any sort of sweet treat.

I'm on maintenance so I get to have low GI fruits. I use Splenda to
sweeten fruit such as berries.
