So what about just regular coffee beans that I typically grind up to make
coffee? Should I try one of those? It doesn't seem that that would be
good. Is the "chocolate & coffee" mixture what makes this work?

BTW, I figured they must be good from the comments, but without having tried
them the thought of eating them invokes a "yuck" response in me.

Also, my husband roasts his own coffee beans, and chewing on a freshly
roasted bean is heaven!

and yes, the chocolate covered beans are DAMN good, but we're going
through a trial separation at the moment.

Evil? Truth be told, that if you move those same four letters aound
you'll find that I have another description for them, vile. But, DH
loves them! Just goes to show, it takes all kinds to make a world!

you can, but it's pretty horrible.

It doesn't seem that that would be good. Is the "chocolate & coffee"

I've been low-carbing since May, and so far I've been pretty lucky where
cravings are concerned. Usually I can have an occasional small serving of
something high-carb, (like on my birthday when I had the tiniest sliver of
cake) enjoy that little taste, and be done with it. On the times when I
have cheated like that, usually I don't even like the food as much as I
thought I would, I'd rather have some cheese. But today, one of my
coworkers bought the most evil food I've ever tasted, evil in that when I
had one piece of this just to see what it was like, I wanted more. So I had
two more. And then I still wanted more, but I made myself stop, though it
took quite an effort of will. And this most evil of all foods is:
chocolate covered espresso beans. Stay away! Evil!!!!

Oh, I used to love those. They'd be easy enough to clone at home,
I think, wouldn't they?

I had about 6 one morning and started buzzing.....

Hmmm. I did mean to go to TJs to buy some heavy cream.

Oh, Roger, you're so right - he let me help. Any CCCBs you
get, you just pass on to me, okay?

April.
