I flew back last night from my 5 day trip to San Diego. I didn't exercise
as much as I wanted to... due to the long hours. I did make it to Curves
this morning. The machines were very tough, as I found out the management
tightened the resistance on them. Anyway, I did great on the HMR diet. At
the restaurants, I ate simple and small house salads or steamed veggies, as
well as my regular meals and I even lost a few more lbs since last week! I
also avoided cigs.

WTG PG!! I like using HMR on trips because I don't have to even think much
about what I'm eating and I can spend more time doing things other than
hanging out in restaurants though I know you and others have to attend meals
as part of the job.
I found the Curves here on my trip had waaaaay loose machines. I almost
flew off the oblique machine because there was no resistance and I twisted a
bit too hard If your bronchitis is cleared up then make it a point to
get back on the exercise track right away - and that's an order!

Its all cleared up and I haven't been smoking... so I started back today. I
will be going for a long walk tomorrow and Curves all next week. I like the
extra resistance.... I was scared that it only felt like more resistance due
to the Curves atrophy... but was glad to find out I was wrong!!

HMR is an easy way to eat... The hardest part with it was not wanting to
explain to the owner and people at the new company about the diet. I
basically ate the shakes at hotel room or between meetings and small salads
or steamed veggies when we went out to lunch and/or dinner. I know that you
don't eat the bars, but I do. I kept one or 2 stuck in my purse for
emergency situations.

That's what the bars are there for. I'd eat them if they didn't cause me to
want to eat 10 of them. Do what works for you.
