Hi. New Here. Health related question

I've been on Atkins since the end of July. Its working great -- I've
lost 40 pounds.

For some reason, I have developed some kind of reddening on my face.
Anyone ever heard of any Atkins-related health issue that might cause
this? I've been to the allergist, and they didn't help. The timing of it
makes me think its the diet, but I'm not sure.

Sounds more like rosacea to me, if it's not allergies.

There's debate over whether rosacea is a form of acne or a vascular
disorder.

Try a google search on rosacea, or try the acne support group, there are
quite a few people there with rosacea and someone posts a rosacea FAQ on a
fairly regular basis.
