Not a nice weigh-in this week. My evil is saying that I'm up 2 kilos,
4.4 lbs, from 2 weeks ago. It said I was up 1 kilo last week which I
found hard to believe because I'd been on program all week and
exercising. So, hopefully it's mostly water retention and maybe if I
drink heaps of water this week I might get a whoosh next week.

I'm betting it's water rentention from the food at your conference. You'd
be amazed at how much salt restaurants put in their food!

You could be right. And the pre conference gain was probably too much
salt and not enough water at home. I'm really bad at remembering to
drink enough water.

Lots of water and
continues exercise and you'll be fine I'm sure

Thanks. I think so too :-)

Mr Evil Scale needs a good talking to!! I hope it is water retention
too, and next week the whoosh fairy visits you. Have you been doing
anything differently in the last 2 weeks? Exercising?

Thanks Misty. I know where my problems lie though. Too much salt and
not enough water. I also think I'm spending a few too many of my
points on not so good food. I'm working on changing my snacks to
healthier items.

I adore raw carrots for the 4 o'clock nibbles! After years of school
teaching, that is the weak point in my day! I used to eat chocolate
cookies, but now I eat carrots. Or apples, bananas, other veggies and
fruit. Dried fruit makes a good snack too, but watch the points.

My lunch veggies consist of celery and baby carrots. I love the sweetness of
them.

I cut up a big bowl full of carrots last night so that I can munch on
them without having to think about it. I like having dried apricots
for lunch. They're healthy, pretty good for the points and it feels
like eating sweets. I just have to work on the salt and water.

Thanks Kristin. I'm hopeful that I'll have a decent loss this week,
although any loss would be fine with me.

Thanks Connie. Maybe I should try giving my scales the finger ;-)

I have been exercising a lot more than usual. My muscles are
definitely making their presence felt.
