Default De-Lurking from Onederland

Hi everybody!

I've been busy, busy, busy, but still keeping steadily on the low-carb
plan. It's really working for me although it's very slow. I'm ok with
that. I just had my 50th birthday and I tell myself that it's really
better for my complexion if I lose slowly. Plus, I'm not feeling
deprived.

I finally made it into Onederland last week and I'm at 198 this
morning. I feel better than I have in years. Lots of energy!

Next week, I complete my master's degree in Management of Technology
and I just got a government job as a project manager. I start December
1. I've been working in academia for years and I'm excited about
having a job where I can wear nice clothes instead of jeans and a lab
coat. I'm also excited about having a job with possibilities for
advancement.

I've been really too busy to post but I've been reading this newsgroup
on a regular basis. It has helped me enormously. Thank you all so
much. I will make more of a contribution once my life settles down.

Time to hop on the Nordic Track before work today and class tonight.
Those Le Chef low carb frozen entrees and salads from Subway help me
stay on plan and keep up my non-stop lifestyle.

Take care,
Chris in Bama

I can't wait to start wearing jeans again in a new career I think I'm
starting in the new year...suits and ties every day are for the birds,
even though the suits fit better after being on LC!
