Congratulations on the lost stone, Clarrie!

As far as wardrobe goes, I just use it as an excuse to buy more
clothes. But this isn't the most economical approach :-).

I hate shopping for clothes. But maybe that's just because there's so
little choice in big girl sizes. Who knows, as I move into smaller
sizes, I may discover my inner shopper ;-)

that I can wear them longer. I see that Beverly recommends a 2nd hand
clothes store... that is also a good idea. I go to stores like that
but can never find anything that I like. It may be because they don't
have the best full figured selections. As I move to smaller sizes
(slowly but surely), I may buy more from them.

Ok, this is a fun thing to complain about: my favorite 2nd hand clothes
store has very FEW things small enough for me g

Life is good.

Now about the clothes problem. Many in the group suggest shopping at second
hand clothing stores for the clothes you wear during your weight loss
phases. We have several of this type of stores in my area and they carry
nice clothing. I've often used them for those special dresses you only wear
once or twice.

You're making great progress. Keep it up.

Beverly

thanks, Beverly :-) and thanks for the suggestion, but unfortunately
the second hand/charity shops near me don't seem to have much stock in
larger sizes

LOL, if you lived in London you might have found the 5 bags of too
big clothes I gave to local charity shops last year

Clarrie, I go to second hand stores and also stores like Penneys. There
are many big sales in JC penney stores and I like a few better things
for church. I 'hand down' my clothes to my daughter after they get big
on me. She is losing too. I also have saved my smallest jenswhich I love
and I can't wait to wear them again. I just got a pair of new black
jeans in the thrift store as I wear them for my job. I was 'swimming' in
my 16 misses and I was happy to try on the 14s and see how great they
fit me!

You are doin so GREAT!!!!
