Default I Have Sinned (I ate a peach)

Gee, this must be one of the few places and circumstances where I
would feel like I have sinned because I ate a peach. But I did
eat it, and I do feel a bit guilty. It wasn't even ethereal.
That is the first big piece of fruit I have had since I started
this WOE ca the beginning of August. Other than that I have just
had a few blueberries and raspberries.

Otherwise for lunch I tried making a pizza-type thing using a
portobello mushroom as a crust. (I either read about that here or
on some LC list.) That was decent, but not as good as the "pizza"
made with the nuked cheese instead of the crust. The mushroom
made the overall flavor less pronounced.

A large peach is about 12.5g carbs. It could have been worse, you could have
made the pizza with an empty calorie, next to no nutrient crust. Just watch
your carbs for the rest of the day.

I plan to! Virtually no more carbs today. I don't know if I
regret it or not. As I said, it wasn't ethereal. But then if it
had been, maybe I'd want another....

Hey, peaches are a pretty LC choice as fruits go. You are allowed fresh
peach slices from day one of the Protein Power plan.

Geez! What a sin. So you dared to eat a peach -- at least you didn't part
your hair behind, or wear white flannel trousers, or walk upon the beach --
now that would have been bad!

"Do I dare to eat a peach?" I've been eating peaches all summer.
They're not a food, but a sensual experience that feeds my soul. I also
eat a lot of berries, but peaches must be a part of my summer.

You have been eating peaches all summer?! Watch it, girl -- next thing you
know, you will be hearing the mermaids singing (but not to you)!

Why do you regret eating it, exactly? Sure was a better choice than a cookie,
or a pretzel, a pretty good nutritional punch for a small handful of carbs.

Oh, of course! I was speaking a bit tongue in cheek--but it is
sort-of carby for me, and it was the first big piece of fruit I
have eaten this summer. (I don't want to think about all that
nice seasonal fruit....)
