Just a couple thoughts...

1600 calories for your weight might be a little low. You could most likely
increase the calories and still lose weight.

I don't know how you're calculating the calories burned from the exercise
but often the numbers from a read out on the machines may be a little high
and the calories from several websites tend to run a little high, too. You
may not be burning as many calories as you believe.

If you're losing weight and aren't hungry it isn't necessary to eat the
additional calories earned from exercise. I seldom eat extra calories
because I've exercised. The only time I eat something is if I'm hungry from
the exercise. I can run on the treadmill or workout with weights and seldom
eat but let me come in from a long bike ride and I'm usually starving

IMHO you should eat if you're hungry and skip it if you're not.

Your body weight will tell you whether or not you're eating enough. If
you're losing more than about 2 lbs per week (on average), you should
probably up your calorie intake slightly. If you're losing less than 1 lb
per week, you should probably decrease your calorie intake, or up your
exercise a bit.

Best of luck.

I'd take my cues from how I was feeling and how fast the weight was
coming off. You don't want to be in starvation mode - you will feel
deprived and won't be able to last (never mind that you might end up
feeling sick, weak, light headed etc.). Most of us aim for 1-2 pounds a
week as a good sustainable loss.

What are you eating for your 1600 calories? Enough protein? Lots of
veg? Low sugar, carb, fat so your blood sugar stays even keeled?

If you're not hungry then there's no problem. If you are hungry,
increase the number of calories you are eating by making use of
foods with a higher satiety value.

I'm a woman of 5.4 feet and a little lighter than you and I average
about 1800 calories a day burning only an extra 300 calories per day
with exercise and I'm still losing well. My eating plan must comply
with a basic requirement that I am never hungry, never mind
"starving".

Maybe it will need to change when I get closer to my ultimate goal
weight, but for the time being this works fine.
