A jolly good read!
Hi everyone, I hope you don't mind a post from a 'lurker' but whilst
having a homesick hour today, I was browsing the BBC website and found the following:- http://www.bbc.co.uk/science/horizon...instrans.shtml It makes very interesting if not long winded reading (it is the programme transcript) but it raises some interesting points. Given the last post I've just read was about the people ejected from a US restaurant, this should help to redress the balance some. I'll go back to lurking now |

It may be that high carbs and fat does not suppress appetite better than high carb without fat. However, high fat with low carbs (20 to 50) does suppress appetite. The Atkins "Fat Fast" depends on it. There is one other distinction, the difference between stopping hunger and causing a stuffed feeling. From my own experience fat clearly stops hunger, but I'm uncertain if fat is the key to feeling stuffed. (I try to avoid doing that to myself). "Pat" wrote in message ...
