I had a KFC meal at lunch today. The variety meal. I was forced! Anyone
know how good/bad it is for you - it felt very greasy.

Besides everything there at KFC being greasy, high fat, & high carbs.
It's one of the most expensive fast food places that I am aware of.

For me it is, although I should have phrased it as Empty carbs instead
of just High carbs.

It is when you eat fast food and junk food all the time. Everything in
moderation will rarely get you in trouble, but the problem is most people
have no idea what a normal food portion size really is nor what moderation
means. A half a cup of rice is one portion size, now I know most people
would laugh at sitting down to a half of cup of rice. I average person sees
what they serve when eating out and thinks that is controlled portion sizes,
NOT. It is usually enough for several meals. Nothing is inherently bad for
you, it is the amount of calories, fat etc.that it contains. Balance to your
diet is what matters in the long run. I don't like labeling some foods as
bad and others good. Even too much of one food group causes an imbalance in
your diet. It pays to read labels and educate yourself in nutrition.
