Fab WW recipes
Hi guys...I'm always on the lookout for new interesting recipes. These
are from the WW Australia site. Australia seems to be light years ahead of North America in terms of interesting food and presentation. I've visited twice in the past year and have been so impressed that even a little corner cafe will make a sandwich and salad on a plate look gorgeous. I know I'll be trying some of these. http://gcms.weigh****chers.com/WWI_W...3&Page=1023942 If the link doesn't work...go to www.weigh****chers.com.au and click in 'Food and Fitness' and you'll find the recipe archive. These are great recipes. It's nice to get some other ideas! Does anyone have
any ideas for imitation crab? I love it and it's really low in points. Thanks.. Gail "Lipgloss Junkie" wrote in message oups.com... Hi guys...I'm always on the lookout for new interesting recipes. I know it's expensive, but real crab is just as low in points and
sooooo much better. The fake crab doesn't really taste like much and needs to be dressed up with sauces and dressings. It basically costs me about 10 bucks for 250 grams of fresh crab, but it tastes so good on salad, in a sandwich or here's a yummy crab cake recipe - low in points since the amount of oil you fry in is up to you: Ingredients: 100 g dungness crab meat 1 tbsp chopped roasted peppers 1 tbsp chopped red onions 1 egg yolk 1/2 tsp flour Salt Pepper Directions: 1. Mix all the ingredients and form mixture into a round shape 2. Shallow fry in hot oil until golden brown, turning carefully to brown the underside 3. Finish cooking 5 or so minute in 400 degree oven. Cheers, Melanie (can you guess I love to cook?) |

What's really fun is to go out and catch them yourself (with DH of
course ) then come home and cook them, clean them then decide what to make with them. Usually though there is no meat left by the time we finish cleaning them. I'm sure you expend more energy grappling with the beast and picking every little bit out - not to mention having to clean the kitchen afterwards! - than you do eating them, unless you catch some seriously big ones! -- Kate XXXXXX R.C.T.Q Madame Chef des Trolls Lady Catherine, Wardrobe Mistress of the Chocolate Buttons http://www.diceyhome.free-online.co.uk Click on Kate's Pages and explore! |
