I was just watching the food networks show "low carb and loving it" and

the
guy made a dessert that called for a brown sugar substitute. I have yet

to
see anything like this in the stores and was wondering if anyone has seen
this, used it, and where they have been able to find it.

I'm not sure, but I can't stand that host after he called Chicken Teriyaki
*Chinese food*. Sheesh, you'd think he, as a cooking host, would know the
difference between Chinese and Japanese.....where do they get these people?

and finding it is a whole different story. It appears that findign a
store
that carries sugar twin isn't easy.

I've used the sugar twin brown sugar substitute and it's kind of nasty
tasting.

Maybe it's just me, but I see nothing wrong with having a little sugar once
in a while. If it's a *treat* like it should be and not a daily thing, I
think it's better for one than some chemical additive.
