Default brown sugar substitute

I was just watching the food networks show "low carb and loving it" and the
guy made a dessert that called for a brown sugar substitute. I have yet to
see anything like this in the stores and was wondering if anyone has seen
this, used it, and where they have been able to find it.

SUGAR TWIN makes a "brown sugar"

While signing the new $417 billion defense appropriation bill
President
George W. Bush told a White House audience "They never stop thinking
about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do
we."

I've used the sugar twin brown sugar substitute and it's kind of nasty
tasting.

Too bad you don't live around here - it's in all the stores.

Have you tried the health food stores or a specialty store such as Trader
Joe's?

No trader joes around here. And short of driving up to the next town up,
the health food stores in town are not open on Sunday's (today), and close
by 6pm on weekdays (before I get home from work) so that leaves Saturdays,
which my Saturdays are usually spent runnign all those errands to catch all
those other places like that.

That's the problem living in retirement capital, they cater to all the
retired folks and forget about the working people. :{
