You know that most of the body is made from water, yes? The body uses water
to do a load of things, and when you sweat or urinate, you lose it. At the
same time, each time you drink, you gain a lot of water. The body can keep
kilos of water for days, so your wait will fluctuate from day to day.

The question is there - it's just a problem in the translation. In French,
you 'take' weight instead of 'gaining' it. Replace the word, and you'll
understand his question perfectly.

Alors, entendu

Ici mon reponse en Anglais:

Food has weight comprised of bulk and water content. It's weight that
doesn't translate into true pounds lost or gained except when it is
metabolized and either burned or stored.

The water you drink also has weight properties. That's whey when a
stomach upset degyrdates us there is usually an immdeitae weight loss
which returns later.

Salt also retains liquid which appears on the bathroom scale as
additonal weight.

There has been discussion of a method of only eating two pounds of food
daily but the purpose there is to accustom the stomach to less volume
of food and control the appetite as well as the calorie value of food
and it is not always reflected in a daily weigh in.

C'est suffi?
