Low-carb International Delight
Ok, I may have to break my "no fake foods" rule for this one. Coffee with
flavored creamer used to be one of my favorite desserts, and I just saw an af for the new International Delight low-carb flavors, with 3g of carbs per serving and sweetened with Splenda. Next time I'm at the store I'm going to read the label and see what else is in it. If it's not too evil this may become a weekend treat for me! -- Michelle Levin http://www.mindspring.com/~lunachick I have only 3 flaws. My first flaw is thinking that I only have 3 flaws. |

Over the last 6 months, I've spent hours standing in front of the International Delight display case looking for the word 'low-carb' only to walk away disappointed each time. I'll keep doing it, but now with a great deal of hope and inspiration. |

I 'use' to buy a jug of that stuff just about every week 'before'
low carb. I loved it too. Will have to see what they consider a serving and see if it is worth the treat again. announced in front of God and everybody: I 'use' to buy a jug of that stuff just about every week 'before' low carb. I loved it too. Will have to see what they consider a serving and see if it is worth the treat again. Thanks for the heads up, I never bought it before, because even when I wasn't low-carbing I was uncomfortable with the idea of adding that much sugar to my coffee. I usually just use cream ... occasionally, if I want it sweet as a change of pace, I add SF vanilla syrup. But I may try this if my store has it. As I recall from trying International Delight (or the CoffeMate version, one of the two) at a friends' house, the hazelnut and Irish cream flavors were pretty damn tasty. Of course, I also recall that this stuff had hydrogenated oils added to it ... but it's not like I'd be chugging it by the glass. Dawn |

Why not just use the DaVinci syrup and cream?

Why not just use the DaVinci syrup and cream? That's what I use. The hazelnut and macadamia flavored syrups are my favorites in coffee. -- As you accelerate your food, it takes exponentially more and more energy to increase its velocity, until you hit a limit at C. This energy has to come from somewhere; in this case, from the food's nutritional value. Thus, the faster the food is, the worse it gets. -- Mark Hughes, comprehending the taste of fast food |

I'm not interested enough to start a hunt for the illusive DaVinci syrups,
but this International Delight stuff should be easy to find. In article , Jennifer wrote: Why not just use the DaVinci syrup and cream?
