Default Questions on getting to the carb limits

How am I supposed to reach a carb count of 20-25? If I have limited my
diet down to basics. I have eliminated dairy, nuts, and all condiments
and dressings. Its helped the allergies big time.

I have been using olive oil, with herbs and spices for a dressing to
add to veggies. Or cooked veggies I use butter and a herb or spice.

Then when I start upping carbs to the 5 carb increments, to get to my
Critical Carb Limit..Then how should I go about doing that? Maybe use
five carbs of a fruit or vegetable?

That has to be one of the dumbest questions ever asked.

On the Atkins diet, there are specific foods you can add back into your diet
when you're ready to up your carbs. Here is a link to the article on the
Atkins site.

I agree. However, this is a *support* group; so *support* or FOAD.

Kicking people who need help isn't *support*.

Sheesh - what an arse....

I'm supporting her education.

She's been posting to this group for quite a while, and has made no effort
to figure out what's going on. She needs to help herself a little. So FOAD
yourself.

Sure....you're not on any kind of induction, right? Up the veggies and add
some fruit if you like...blueberries, strawberries, cantaloupe, etc.

At the time I asked it, I put into fitday what I have eaten all
weekend. I was lucky to get to 15 carbs a day. I don't think that is a
good thing, to not at least get 20 a day in. So not a stupid question.

He likes to kick people. It is his enjoyment. It don't bother me. I
know where he is coming from, and understand people like him well. I
have been kicked by worse than him, and still come back fighting, I am
still here, not going anywhere. So, not a prob. He is just a **** ant
to me. Just flick him away is the way I do it.

The calorie and fat intake daily is up there, with the butter and oil
- that concerns me. At the time I asked the question, I was also
concerned with how am I to go above the 15 carbs I been taking in,
then add 5 more at a time as well. I am sure I can get some support
and answers from informed people, who don't like to kick.

I researched, and found answers already. I read more in the books too.
I can and will go find more answers.

Thank you for the article. I had given my book away too soon, was
referring to another book with not so more in detail info. Once I got
online too, I got to the Atkins site, but its not as good as the book
iteself.

I figured out why I am not so hungry either. Why I am not hungry
enough to eat, or go to 20-25 carbs a day. The olive oil. Found some
great info on that too. It causes a satiated feeling. I love that
feeling.

What is the difference between virgin olive oil vs. regular olive oil?
Or is that a stupid question? Nah, I don't think so.

Again, thank you for taking the time.

And....Plonk.

I usually read messages through google. Got a newsreader going, and
plonked him. My flicking finger is getting tired. Be pround JC, you
are my very first plonk.

Good riddance.

I am new at reading through newsreaders, but it won't take me long to
catch on. If anybody would like to advise me or give tips on using a
newsreader, please email me. I am using the newsreader through AOL.
