Default Exercise 5/5/06

After our exercise challenge last week I said I would do a daily exercise
post in hopes it would motivate me to do it on a more regular basis. Anyone
else is invited to piggyback with their exercise.

Today I did a 25 mile bike ride on the local bike paths with some members of
the cycling club. My usual breakfast of oatmeal, protein powder and ground
flax seed seemed to be enough for this ride. Afterward we stopped for lunch
and I'm glad to report I wasn't overly hungry. Lunch was a small salad, 3
oz white fish, green beans, mixed fruit and fresh strawberries.

This is going to be a regular Friday morning ride for the club and I can
only hope the weather for the upcoming rides is as beautiful as it was
today. Temps were in the 60's and no winds!

I'm glad to see that your Friday rides have started.

This morning I "rode the elliptical" for 60 minuntes and I took half an
hour walk at lunch. The weather here is nice as well. It looks like
rain tonight but it should clear out in time for my bike ride tomorrow.
