Anyone recommend a free carb counter site?
Anyone recommend a free carb counter site? Preferably with a
downloadable list. I downloaded a list the other day but it hasn't got cauliflower on it. Also it doesn't indicate 'portions', I mean it has like 'sausage' and a carb number and 'mustard and cress' and a carb number. Guess it's for a 'serving' whatever that is. But it gives me a vague general idea of 'good' and 'bad'. So I've just been searching again. There are a LOT of poor sites and HUGE numbers of 'links' pages that seem to lead nowhere. Anyway, the one called something like freecarbcounter.com for some reason doesn't work in my browser; the search just crashes. |

Another good site for nutrition data is:
http://www.nutritiondata.com/index.html It's nicely searchable and they include brand name items. Also restaurant foods. Dave N Low Carb News Update http://lowcarbupdate.com |
