Default Doughnuts (dumb question)

According to my CalorieKing book, a Plain Old Fashioned Cake donut from
Dunkin Donuts is 250 calories, while a Yeast Sugar Raised donut is 170
calories.

The cake donut has 15g of fat, while the raised one has 8.

Go figure...I would have thought it was the other way around.

Nope, yeast donuts are baked while cake donuts are deep fried. Personally,
if I'm going to splurge on that sort of thing, give me a chocolate-filled
croissant. : )

Sorry, all commercial donuts are fried unless otherwise described.
